Safe and Timely Shuttle Services, Long Distance Charters, and Ambulatory/Non-Ambulatory Patient Transportation Solutions can all be implemented at your convenience.

Shuttle Services

Travel through some of the Nation’s larger metropolitan areas can be difficult and worrisome, especially when traveling in larger groups. The mounting costs of taxis and rental cars can be overwhelming to the individual or business providing the funds. This is where the value of shuttle buses comes into play. Whether it’s for a day’s outing, a multi-day event, or daily shuttle services for your employees, shuttle services are a wonderful way to cut transportation costs and decrease automobile pollution. Drivers are trained and licensed to meet all Federal, State, and Local requirements for this service. Mini-buses are exempt from the “over-the-road” exception. Mini-buses are not used for long distance transportation. Generally, any transportation that requires the vehicle to go beyond the 100-mile radius of a metropolitan center will require the utilization of a full-sized charter bus.

Over Road Transportation

Group transportation to and from airports, business conventions, academic events, or traveling between metropolitan areas. Charter bus rentals are a convenient, cost-effective ground transportation alternative for groups of all sizes. Drivers are trained and licensed to meet all Federal, State, and Local requirements for this service.

Ambulette (Wheelchair Van) Services

Just as Vans offer a cost-effective and convenient way in which to travel to and from any type of event; our ambulette vans are equipped with wheelchair/scooter lifts and tie downs to provide a safe and convenient way to travel. Whether someone needs to be transported to a special event or something as simple as a ride to and from a doctor’s appointment (Check-ups, Physical Therapy, Chemotherapy, Hemodialysis, etc.), our wheelchair vans provide safe and comfortable conveyance. Drivers are trained and licensed to meet all Federal, State, and Local requirements. KCW will also respond to Agency-specific requirements for Ambulette services. Upon request, these services will also include in-vehicle oxygen tanks at no cost. Drivers will properly disconnect / re-connect oxygen tubing to those tanks for transport when necessary.

KCW can be found in the GSA System for Award Management (SAM) providing services under NAICS codes 485410, 485999 and 485991. KCW is registered as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in the VA’s Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE). Additionally, KCW follows all Federal, State, and Local regulations and codes relating to this type of service.
